"Forgiveness is not the misguided act of condoning irresponsible, hurtful behavior. Nor is it a superficial turning of the other cheek that leaves us feeling victimized and martyred. Rather it is the finishing of old business that allows us to experience the present, free of contamination from the past."

  1. Don't you dare, for one more second, surround yourself with people who are not aware of the greatness that you are.

  2. I used to have so much trouble with the word forgiveness. I now think of it like a big, black greasy boulder. I am letting it go so I don't have to carry it any more. Carrying it around causes nobody pain but myself.
However, don't be hard on yourself when you find yourself walking in unforgiveness again. It takes a long time to heal from divorce. (((hug))))
